Inspired by the fleeting dance of feather and wave on a tranquil lake. The seamless ring-shaped rim evokes fluttering feathers, while the flowing curves mimic gentle ripples spreading across water.

Story Behind the Creation

While wandering by a wooded lakeshore, the designer observed a single feather skimming the water and stirring concentric ripples. Captivated by the interplay of feather lightness and water’s movement, she immortalized this moment in glass—creating elegant trays that serve fruit or stand alone as sculptural focal pieces, seamlessly extending nature into interiors.

Craftsmanship

• Hot-pull & blowing: Rims are hot-pulled into feather-like curves, ensuring an airy, lightweight form;

• Dual-layer color infusion: Green or blue molten glass is overlaid with a clear outer shell, producing a distinct “liquid veil” effect;

• Slow annealing & polishing: Multiple annealing cycles eliminate stress, and meticulous polishing highlights each curve’s crystalline clarity and fluid light play.
