Story Behind the Creation

While wandering in the woods after rain, the artist was captivated by a stream weaving through fallen leaves, its clear water glinting softly on moss. She set out to capture this natural rhythm in glass, employing layered blowing techniques to recreate the poetic moment of water coursing through the forest.

Craftsmanship

• Layered color blowing: A deep green base is first formed, then lighter green molten glass is injected and shaped repeatedly to achieve rich gradient contrasts;

• Slow annealing: Extended annealing removes internal stresses, ensuring flawless structural integrity and clarity;

• Meticulous polishing: Multiple polishing stages yield a mirror-like finish reminiscent of a shimmering water surface, enhancing the vivid color layers.
