Story Behind the Creation

While exploring a rain-soaked forest, the artist observed raindrops pooling on a mushroom cap and streaming down its stalk like liquid gold over dark stone. Captivated by this fleeting moment, she sought to immortalize the “golden umbrella” in glass, blending softness and power in one work.

Craftsmanship

• Dual-color molten blowing: A dark base is formed first, followed by the injection of golden glass to shape the umbrella-like top;

• Fluid forming technique: During semi-cooling, golden glass is guided to flow naturally downward, creating a waterfall effect;

• Slow annealing & polishing: Extended annealing relieves internal stress, and meticulous polishing ensures crystal clarity and vivid color depth.
