Design Inspiration

Story Behind the Creation

Inspired by philosophical notions of cyclical existence and cause-and-effect, the artist sought to embody the concept of “infinity” in glass. After encountering an installation piece featuring endless loops, she reflected: "Infinity is both an end and a new beginning." Using clear glass accented with violet bands, she immortalized this contemplation in a tactile, floating form.

Craftsmanship

• Hot-pull & color overlay: Molten glass fibers are stretched and inlaid with purple glass stripes, naturally following the curves;

• Hand-blown shaping: After basic form blowing, artisans fine-tune the curves by hand to achieve fluid elegance;

• Polishing & annealing: Multiple polishing stages create a mirror-like surface, and slow annealing ensures crystal clarity and structural integrity.
