MURRANA / THE WORK
A little of the living world.
Some forms feel familiar before we can explain why. They recall the life and movement we recognise in nature.
This sculpture embodies the moment before life takes form — inspired by the ancient symbol of the turtle, a creature of protection, wisdom, and longevity. Inside, swirls of amber, ivory, and smoky hues resemble the flow of creation, as if the spirit of life itself is crystallized within glass — delicate, timeless, and deeply alive.
Give it a place you pass each day, where that connection to the living world can become part of your own surroundings.
Nature, close at hand.
MURRANA / LIGHT STUDY
Find its place
in the light.
Begin by a window
Try soft, indirect daylight and observe the balance of colour and reflection.
Explore the edges
A light from one side can help you discover the contours and surface of the work.
Consider the evening
View the work under your room lighting before choosing its permanent place.
Placement and lighting guidance, illustrated with existing product photographs. These images are not a matched time-of-day lighting study.
MURRANA / SCALE & PLACEMENT
Consider the space
around the work.
Give the silhouette room to be seen. A stable console, sideboard or dedicated pedestal offers a clear setting; leave space around the edges and keep the work away from busy walkways.
Dimensions & weight
Please contact us for confirmed measurements and weight before selecting a shelf or display surface.
MURRANA / THE MAKING
Material.
Form. Finish.
Layered molten-glass technique — amber, ivory, and gray pigments fused together to form organic, living textures; Free-form shaping — hand-blown curves evoke natural flow and quiet strength; Cold-polished finish — refined by multiple rounds of grinding to achieve a smooth, timeless glow.

CARE
Support the work at its base with both hands. Display on a stable, level surface. Dust gently with a soft, clean cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners, impacts and sudden temperature changes. This is a decorative object, not food or drink ware.
